When I first knew that I was going to Bangkok, it was really fun. I have never imagined what it would be like to be a tourist in a foreign country. And indeed it was my first experience to go abroad without the company of my family members and purely go with my friends. I spent 6 days in Thailand, where 2 days were in Bangkok and 4 days in Chiang Mai. So, my story is really pure from my personal experience. Then because I was in Bangkok, I only stayed for 2 days, so I didn't visit many tourist attractions or places of worship with aesthetic buildings.
Why did I only stay for 2 days in Bangkok? So, I departed from Juanda Airport, Sidoarjo around 9 in the morning and transited at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 around 12 (Malaysian time) and I still had to wait for the delay to wait for the flight to Don Mueang, Thailand. The next flight to Don Mueang Airport, which was supposed to be at 2, instead it was delayed to 3 or 4 pm I forgot (Malaysian time). The distance from KLIA 2 to Don Mueang Airport is pretty good, in short, I arrived at Don Mueang Airport at 8 pm (Thailand time). And the night after I arrived at Don Mueang, I still had to wait for a public bus that could take me to the inn on Khaosan Road. Long story short at 11 pm I just arrived at the inn and finished taking care of the check-in administration there.
The next morning, I immediately decided to take a walk. But, because according to the initial plan I had to go to Chaing Mai, so that same morning I looked for travel that was cheap and could take me to Chiang Mai. And you know what? Travel that will take me to Chiang Mai on average departs at 6 pm. So I really had a dilemma between extending in Bangkok or directly to Chiang Mai, in short, I decided to make it that afternoon I went to Chiang Mai. So that's why I spent only time in Bangkok at Wat Phra Kaew and photographs in every aesthetic building along the road.
I can only recommend to you guys:
1. Khaosan Road
Yes, as I told you earlier, this is my neighborhood. So in my opinion, Khaosan Road is like Malioboro Indonesia. On each side of Khaosan Road, there are many places to eat, from cheap to expensive. In addition, the place is really aesthetic for photographs in the middle of the road. And what makes me really comfortable living in the Khaosan Road area is that every afternoon, there is a cheap food bazaar consisting of snacks to heavy meals. And it feels soooooo yummy !! I found grilled sausages really delicious even though in Indonesia there are, but there are bigger and the price is only 4 thousand only !! Really cheap and easy street food in Thailand. So this is how my photos look on Khaosan Road.

2. Wat Phra Kaew
This is really a really good recommendation to visit because it's really that good !! You, photo lovers if you are to Bangkok, you are really required to go to Wat Phra Kaew. The building is very good and inside Wat Phra Kaew there are still some beautiful temples which are also very instagramable. However, we also have to be polite and obedient tourists. Wat Phra Kaew itself has pretty strict rules for every tourist who comes just to take a picture or visit (outside the purpose of worship). I myself experienced 3x rejection because according to security officers at Wat Phra Kaew, my clothes did not meet the requirements. Even though I already wore a long sleeve and trousers that covered my body. In addition to the rules for entering Wat Phra Kaew, in its largest temple, there are also rules including recording prohibited, taking photos and prohibiting making noise. In my opinion, it's only natural that there are regulations in places of worship because the main purpose of the establishment is for worship. In addition to its beauty, in Wat Phra Kaew we can also follow a brief Buddhist ritual, which is to burn three incense sticks while saying our wishes. we can get it for free but we still have to queue.

For you as a shopaholic, Chatuchak Weekend Market is perfect !! Especially for you who have an online shop for imported Thai clothes. Indeed, when I see the clothes are cute and the price is quite cheap. But still, the name of the reseller will definitely want to take advantage, so it's not wrong if the price is expensive hehehe. Besides clothes, there is also Thai merchandise that is no less fun and cheap that you can get. For example, tote bags, elephant motif pants, elephant model bags, key chains, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and many other unique items. However, when I visited here I only focused on hunting culinary. And I found a coconut ice cream that tastes really good and the price isn't too expensive either. What makes me even happier is that the ice-cream seller can communicate using Indonesian. so at that time I was also joking and laughing while the seller's father served the ice. But, we cannot visit Chatuchak Weekend Market every time because it is only open every Friday to Sunday. Although Wednesday and Thursday are open, only a short time.
