1. House of Sampoerna
The first place I suggest you to go is House of Sampoerna. It is located in jalan Taman Samperna no. 6, Surabaya. The museum is built with Dutch Colonial Style.

House of Sampoerna is museum of cigarettes, specifically Sampoerna. The museum is filled with historical stuff of cigs from time to time such as tobacco grinder, traditional printing machine, the replica of the first stall which was used to sell cigs. Visitors can read the development of Sampoerna cigs from 1932 until now.
However, only 18+ age visitors could enter the museum. Visitor have to show their ID Card to security as the requirements. If visitors are 18+, then they are good to go.

Tugu pahlawan is the landmark of Surabaya. This monument is dedicated for the heroes who died during Surabaya battle in 10 November 1945.
Tugu Pahlawan is not just a monument, but there is museum underneath the monument. Visitors can find dioramas, written history, old pictures of Surabaya, and some video clip of the recorded moment during the battle.

If the visitors like to take selfies or taking photos, they will capture good photo with classical vibes of Surabaya.
Tugu Pahlawan’s museum entrance ticket only costs IDR 2.000,-/person. It opens at 08.00 - 14.30 on Tuesday to Friday, 08.00 - 13.30 on Saturday. You need to know that you cannot go there on Monday or on national day off because Tugu Pahlwan is closed.
